walkinemptylands: (how can we ask for more)
In a world not completely unlike Earth, there stands a tall, white building, which seems to have been fashioned after the name of the company it houses: White City Industries. According to the Financial Times, it's one of those odd sort of companies that buys and sells, merges with and parents others, rather than actually do anything or have one specific purpose.

What they're really about is far more interesting, and what's more interesting is their security extends far beyond a few guys behind a desk. The uniformed officers look like they're ex-army (some ex-army, anyway, long, long ago), a security check that wouldn't look out of place at an airport, high definition cameras everywhere and it's very, very tightly warded against any sort of supernatural threat. Not that they're paranoid or anything.

There's also a reception desk for visitors to sign in. It might be best to do so.
